Camp is coming fast.  And the mail is not moving at all.

This is an important time in the planning of camp - to ensure that all of the campers have the most amazing summer camp experience.

We know that final payments and health forms are due today, June 15, 2011 - the same day that Canada Post locked out the Postal Workers. We do not take any side in the postal dispute, we just want to make sure that we are ready for the summer.

Here are some ways you can still get us the information:

- Email us your scanned forms or take a picture of your form and send it to us - we will convert it to PDF here.  Make sure it is a clear, focused  picture.

- Email your credit card details or phone them in to take care of final payment.

- Fax in your health form. (fax # is 519-764-2428)

- Fax in your final payment information with your Credit Card number and expiry date.  (fax # is 519-764-2428)

- Hand deliver your information to us at 8009 Iona Road, Fingal, Ontario  N0L 1K0

- Call us to arrange a different method to get us your information

Summer is here!  The spring staff are here!  Life is good.

Camp is going really well, lost in the season of grants, hiring and getting everything ready.  

I really need to work on a way to get this section of the site to be more active.

We started a new promotion last year and are continuing it this year.  If a camper registers before December 11, 2010 they will get a card to go under the Christmas tree and a t-shirt in January.

Here is this years Christmas t-shirt design below.  I like it so much I might use it for the summer too... Let me know what you think.

At this time of year it is important to give thanks.

I am thankful that the Lord has seen it fit to have me work here at Pearce Williams.

I am thankful for an amazing staff here at camp - both our full-time staff - Shannon, Dave and Maureen and our amazing summer staff team.

I am thankful that parents send their kids to camp and believe in the camp experience.

I am thankful for all of the groups that rent the facility here at Pearce Williams - it helps us run summer camp.

I am thankful for my family - Jen, Matthew & Kayla (Happy Birthday to Matthew & Kayla this week).

I am thankful for good health (even with this cough I have had since July 14th...)

I am thankful for the quiet that is camp in the fall.

I am thankful for being able to work at camp for a living.

There are many things I'm thankful for... these are but a few.
