For Ages: 15 (by July 1st 2012)

The Counsellor-In-Training Program is for youth who want to learn, like working with children and want to work at camp in the future.  The program includes a one week training camp and then two weeks of cabin placement working directly with a counsellor - you will learn to do by doing.  Contact Joe Richards ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) for more information and to set up an interview for your CIT camper.

Date Ranges 2010:

Counsellor-In-Training Training Week - Monday, July 2, 7:00pm to Friday, July 6, 3:00pm

There are then two placement weeks over the next five weeks of the summer.

The CIT program is one that involves an interview for acceptance.  The interview process will determine the level of commitment of the applicant and make sure that the applicant knows what is expected of them.  To be a CIT is to be a Counsellor-In-Training, but also a Camper-In-Transition.  CIT's are still campers, but much more is expected of you than of our younger campers.
